Reducing Or Preventing Pollution (Object B)

Object B allows work to be done to prevent, reduce or mitigate the effects of pollution that has resulted, or may result, from an activity which has now been ceased.

You must be able to demonstrate that the pollution identified in the project is linked to a ceased activity. This will entail providing details of:

• The ceased activity.

• Who carried it out.

• When it stopped.

• How it caused or is causing pollution.

The company or persons who polluted the site originally- or allowed it to be polluted must not benefit from reclamation work proposed under object b.
