Landfill Sites

The LCF helps landfill site operators (LO’s) to support environmental projects by giving them a tax credit of 90 per cent on donations to Environmental Bodies (EB’s) registered with ENTRUST. These donations must not exceed 6.8 per cent of the LO's total Landfill Tax liability. In this way the LCF encourages partnership between LO’s, their local communities and the voluntary and public sectors.

Grants made through the LCF are entirely at the discretion of the landfill operators, many of whom choose to donate some or all of their Landfill Tax credits through a Distributive Environmental Body (D-EB) like Evolve EB. Each LO will have its own grant application procedure.

Evolve EB distributes Landfill Tax Credits on behalf of the landfill operators listed in the left hand column of this page.
