Project: High Hazels Park - Sheffield

Funding Allocated: £15,000

The opening of High Hazels Park in Sheffield was on the 22nd September 2003. It was officially opened by the Lord Mayor and 2 local schools were invited to try out the new park. We funded the installation of play equipment and safety surfacing and pathways.

The park was very impressive and had various activities for the children to play on ranging from a cable slide to balancing beams. The park is kept up to a very high standard and got the voted of approval from the children who thought the park was excellent.

The new park is now thriving and has a number of events coming up in the next few months. These include an autumn fayre, music festival and a light show.
