Project: Brigg Wheelers Skate Park

Funding Allocated: £15,000

Enventure awarded £15,000 through the Singleton Birch Landfill Communities Fund towards the construction of a new skate park in Brigg.

The skate park, named Brigg Wheelers, has been constructed within the grounds of the local Leisure Centre playing fields and facilities skating, skate Boarding and BMX-ing.

The Enventure grant funded the first phase of the project – digging up and preparing the land. The skate park received a vast amount of interest from the local youth community and the project has not only provided much needed facilities to accommodate the increasing popularity of skating and bmx sports but has also benefited the entire community by encouraging skaters and riders to confine their sport within a suitably designed facility.
